We have worked for B&Q for many years across retail communications, whether it be a nationwide seasonal campaign or a single store opening. We have also been involved in brand development, brand guidelines and POS innovations.
This Autumn gardening campaign was based around all the activities that go on during this time including tidying, storage and winter gardening ideas. We devised 3 graphic illustrations designed around each activity, which formed the basis of this campaign. The core illustration was executed in house using screenprint style filters to create the more earthy feel. The bold strong executions helped cut through at a time of year where Autumn colours dominate.
This 8 week campaign period was designed to encourage consumers to tick off all those final little projects in one store visit increasing AVP instore. The result was an exceptional increase in incremental sales for the relatively quiet period across the group.
